Why Choose Us What you should know and why
When you're considering adding a Ragdoll to your home it's important to understand the breed and what they expect from you as their care taker. Ragdolls are known for their calm and compliant-like nature. Because of their docile nature Ragdolls are indoor only cats as they do not possess the fight or flight nature.
Ragdolls have long hair, and although they shed less than an average feline, they should be brushed regularly.
They have an above average life span so owning one is most likely a long term commitment. They want to be involved in everything you're doing...including changing litter boxes, fixing dinner, using the restroom, etc. Most likely if you're doing it you will probably have a buddy right there with you! If you are going to be out of the home a lot, it's probably a better idea to consider getting a second ragdoll to avoid any potential behavioral issues. Although it is not necessary, we want to be completely transparent in the understanding of these cats. Feel free to discuss your daily activities with us as we can potentially give you some pointers to keep your new family member happy and healthy.
Please also keep in mind that Ragdolls are a larger breed than an average cat size.
